The Bahco 2101G-160 Side Cutting Pliers feature a 160mm overall length, delivering enhanced leverage and cutting power whilst maintaining excellent control and accessibility. This popular size is perfectly suited for general trade applications, electrical installations, and maintenance work where increased cutting capacity is required without sacrificing manoeuvrability. Crafted from high-performance steel with a durable black anti-corrosion finish, these pliers showcase induction hardened cutting edges at 62 HRC for outstanding longevity and consistent performance. The 2-component combination handles feature a thermoplastic surface bonded to tough polypropylene, ensuring a superior grip and reduced hand fatigue during extended use. Progressive cutting edges provide versatility across materials - tackling hard materials like piano wire close to the joint and softer materials such as copper and plastic insulated wire at the tip. The precision screw joint guarantees smooth operation and accurate edge alignment, with the reduced joint-to-edge distance maximising leverage and cutting capacity. Round shaped jaws enhance accessibility in confined spaces, whilst the innovative on/off return spring delivers automatic jaw opening for efficient cutting, with the convenience of deactivating the spring function during transport or storage.
