Advances in Mergers and AcquisitionsAuthor(s): Cary L. Cooper, Sydney Finkelstein

Format: Hardback

Publisher: Emerald Publishing Limited, United Kingdom

Imprint: Emerald Publishing Limited

ISBN-13: 9781805927945, 978-1805927945

Synopsis

Advances in Mergers and Acquisitions stands out from the competition due to its focus on three key characteristics: studies from scholars in different countries, with different research questions, relying on different theoretical perspective. Such a broad and inclusive approach to mergers and acquisitions is not easily replicated in academic journals, with much narrower mandates and metrics.

Volume 24 of this annual series explores a range of issues, from the pre-deal phase of mergers and acquisitions, merger integration and value judgements in the public sector, to private equity-backed buy-and-build strategy and UK regional economic governance.

This collection of new and current research highlights interesting behavioural themes as well .
